The Dolphin Premier is part of the ProLine™ lineup — the only Dolphin with swappable MultiMedia™ filtration. It cleans pools up to 50 ft with floor + walls + waterline coverage and MultiMedia™ + NanoFilters™ filtration, backed by a 3-year warranty.
The Dolphin Explorer E50 is part of the Explorer™ lineup — Wi-Fi cleaning with waterline coverage for larger pools. It handles pools up to 50 ft with floor + walls + waterline coverage and Dual-layer cartridge filtration, backed by a 2-year warranty.
Our verdict: the Dolphin Premier wins
The Dolphin Premier is our pick. As part of the ProLine™ — one of our two top-recommended lineups — it steps ahead of the Dolphin Explorer E50 with floor + walls + waterline coverage, MultiMedia™ + NanoFilters™ filtration and a 3-year warranty.
The Dolphin Explorer E50 is the cheaper option at $1629, but the step up to the Dolphin Premier buys a meaningfully better clean and longer coverage that's well worth it.
