Set it once. Your Dolphin cleans on schedule.
The weekly timer lives in the power supply, not the robot. Leave the Dolphin in the pool, pick an interval with one press, and the power supply starts every cycle for you. No app, no Wi-Fi, no battery to charge.
Plug in and connect
Set the power supply in a covered, shaded spot on a GFCI outlet, then twist the grooved ring on the blue cable until it locks.
Pick the interval
Put the robot in the pool and press the timer button to choose every 24, 48 or 72 hours. The first cycle starts right away.
Rinse once a week
At the end of the weekly cycle, hose off the filter, drop the robot back in and re-select the schedule to keep it running.
Which Dolphins use this power supply?
Start with your robot. The Dolphin Escape is sold without a timer, so this is its add-on. The other Max-Series™ and ProLine™ robots already include one, which makes this their replacement.

Dolphin Escape
Ships with a standard power supply. This unit is the Escape's Automation Timer: same robot, same cleaning, a power supply that starts it on schedule.
Buying a new Escape? Choose the timer option on its page for +$99 instead of $199 later.

Dolphin Cayman
Every Cayman ships with a weekly timer power supply in the box. If the label on yours reads 9995672-US-ASSY, this is the exact replacement; if not, send us the number and we will match it.
Dolphin Cayman ›
Dolphin Quantum
The Quantum includes a programmable weekly timer alongside its XXL MaxBin™ and NanoFilters™. Nothing to add.
Dolphin Quantum ›
Dolphin Premier
The Premier's power supply pairs its weekly timer with Media-Alert™, which tells you when the filter needs a rinse.
Dolphin Premier ›
Dolphin Sigma
The Sigma schedules its week from the myDolphin™ Plus app, so the timer comes with the robot.
Dolphin Sigma ›Replacing a lost or failed power supply?
Maytronics catalogues this 180 W unit as the replacement power supply for the Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus and for models with an on/off button and a weekly timer. Power supplies vary by model year and connector, so if the label on your current unit reads 9995672-US-ASSY, this is the exact replacement. If it reads something else, send us the number and your robot's serial and we will confirm the right one.
Check my fit with a specialist ›Always cleaning. Never charging.
A corded Dolphin runs on steady low-voltage power from the supply, so there is no battery to drain and no dock to return to. Put it on a daily schedule and it will clean every day of the season.
Three habits that keep a scheduled Dolphin happy.

Leave it in, rinse it weekly.
Maytronics says a Dolphin on a weekly timer can stay in the water for the whole week. Clean the filter at the end of the weekly cycle, keep the chemistry balanced so the plastics and cable age well, and take the robot out before anyone swims.
How long can a Dolphin stay in the pool? ›
Covered, shaded, 12 feet back.
The power supply stays plugged in on a timer, so give it a home: a covered, shaded spot at least 12 feet from the water, on a GFCI-protected 120 V outlet. Mounting it on the Dolphin caddy keeps it off the deck and out of puddles. It is splash-resistant, not waterproof.
Is it safe to leave the power supply outside? ›
Check the outlet before the unit.
Most "dead" power supplies are a tripped GFCI, a loose blue-cable ring or a robot stuck on a drain. Maytronics' step-by-step checks sort it out in minutes, and if the unit really has failed, this is the genuine replacement.
Power supply troubleshooting ›Same robot. A smarter power supply.
Swapping power supplies changes nothing about how the Dolphin scrubs, climbs or filters. It changes who presses the button.

Dolphin power supply with weekly timer: what to know before you order
Maytronics sells this unit as the Advanced Power Supply with Weekly Timer, part 9995672-US-ASSY. It is a 180 W low-voltage power supply like the one that runs every corded Dolphin, with a timer board and one extra button on the face, and Maytronics backs it with a 6-month parts warranty. Press the button to cycle through daily, every-other-day and every-third-day schedules; the LED shows which one is active. The robot stays in the pool and the power supply starts each cycle for the week.
Two buyers land here. Dolphin Escape owners who want to stop pressing the button: the Escape ships without a timer, and this is its Automation Timer. If you have not bought the Escape yet, choose the timer option on the Escape page; it adds $99 to the robot instead of $199 for the standalone unit. And owners of a timer-equipped Dolphin whose power supply was lost, flooded or failed: match the part number on your old label and this is the genuine replacement, not an aftermarket brick.
Looking for a full lineup with a timer in the box? The Max-Series™ Cayman and Quantum and every ProLine™ robot include one. Pair the timer with NanoFilters™ and the water gets polished every day, not just vacuumed.

Dolphin weekly timer: frequently asked questions
Does the Dolphin weekly timer need Wi-Fi or an app?
No. The timer is built into the power supply and is set with one button on the unit itself. There is nothing to pair and no app to install.
What schedules can the weekly timer run?
Three repeat intervals: every 24 hours (daily), every 48 hours (every other day) or every 72 hours (every third day). The schedule runs for the week; re-select it at the end of the week to keep it going.
Can I leave my Dolphin in the pool between scheduled cleanings?
Yes. Maytronics says a Dolphin running on a weekly timer can stay in the water for the whole week. Clean the filter at the end of the weekly cycle, keep the water chemistry balanced, and take the robot out before anyone swims.
Which Dolphin robots use this power supply?
The Dolphin Escape is sold without a timer, so this is its Automation Timer add-on. The Cayman, Quantum, Premier and Sigma already include a weekly timer. Maytronics catalogues it as the replacement for the Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus and for models with an on/off button and weekly timer. For any other Dolphin, match the part number printed on the label of your current power supply (9995672-US-ASSY) or send us your robot's model and serial number and we will confirm the fit.
Is it cheaper to buy the timer with a new Dolphin Escape?
Yes. On the Dolphin Escape page the Automation Timer option swaps the standard power supply for this one at a smaller upcharge than buying the timer power supply on its own later.
Does the power supply have to stay plugged in?
Yes. On a weekly timer the power supply stays plugged in so it can start each cycle. Keep it in a covered, shaded spot at least 12 feet from the pool on a GFCI-protected outlet, ideally mounted on the Dolphin caddy.
What outlet does a Dolphin power supply need?
A standard 120 V household outlet, GFCI-protected. Dolphin robots are energy efficient and draw well under 1 amp while cleaning.
What warranty comes with the Dolphin power supply?
Maytronics covers the replacement power supply with a 6-month parts warranty. It is a 180 W unit that runs from a standard 120 V outlet.
Is the Dolphin power supply waterproof?
It is splash-resistant, not waterproof. Never let it sit in standing water or get submerged, and keep it out of direct rain, heat and cold.
Not sure your Dolphin takes this power supply?
Send us your robot's model and the part number printed on your current power supply and we will confirm the match before you order. It ships free from our warehouse with 30-day returns.
