The Best Robotic Pool Cleaners for 40 Foot Pools: Dolphin Picks
Not all robotic pool cleaners are built the same. These are the machines we'd put in a pool for 40 Foot Pools — chosen for filtration, coverage, and reliability, and every one is a genuine Dolphin.
The term "robotic pool cleaner" covers everything from bargain floor-only vacuums to commercial-grade machines. When you're shopping for 40 Foot Pools, the difference between the wrong robot and the right one is filtration, coverage, and build quality — three areas where Dolphin robots by Maytronics consistently lead.
A 40-foot pool is long enough that cable length becomes a real consideration — the robot has to reach the far end from the power supply. Reach and efficient lengthwise navigation are the priorities.
What to look for in a robotic pool cleaner for 40 Foot Pools
For a 40-foot pool, confirm the robot's cable comfortably spans the length plus the distance to the outlet — most flagships ship with a ~60-foot cable that covers this easily. Efficient straight-line or mapped navigation cleans a long pool without wasting passes, and good side-wall climbing keeps the long walls clean.
- Cable that spans 40 ft plus setback
- Efficient lengthwise navigation
- Long side-wall climbing
- Strong, consistent coverage
