The Best Robotic Pool Cleaners for Infinity Pools: Dolphin Picks
Not all robotic pool cleaners are built the same. These are the machines we'd put in a pool for Infinity Pools — chosen for filtration, coverage, and reliability, and every one is a genuine Dolphin.
The term "robotic pool cleaner" covers everything from bargain floor-only vacuums to commercial-grade machines. When you're shopping for Infinity Pools, the difference between the wrong robot and the right one is filtration, coverage, and build quality — three areas where Dolphin robots by Maytronics consistently lead.
Infinity-edge pools are showpieces where the waterline and vanishing edge are always on display, so cleanliness at the surface matters as much as the floor. Precision waterline cleaning is essential.
What to look for in a robotic pool cleaner for Infinity Pools
For an infinity pool, prioritize meticulous waterline and wall cleaning so the visible edges stay flawless, plus fine filtration for crystal-clear water in a pool people look straight across. Smart navigation ensures complete coverage of a large, often irregular basin, and a surface skimmer keeps the reflective top spotless.
- Precise waterline & wall cleaning
- Fine filtration for showcase clarity
- Smart navigation for large basins
- Optional surface skimming for the mirror finish

Frequently asked questions
What robotic cleaner is best for an infinity pool?
One with excellent waterline cleaning and fine filtration, like the Sigma or Quantum, because the edges and clarity are always on display. A surface skimmer keeps the reflective top perfect.
Do infinity pools need special cleaning?
They need extra attention to the waterline and surface since those are the focal points. A full-surface robot plus a skimmer covers both.
Can a robot handle a large infinity pool?
Yes — the Sigma's gyroscopic navigation is designed for large, complex pools and ensures complete coverage.
