The Best Dolphin Robotic Pool Cleaners for Gunite Pools
We carry every Dolphin robot by Maytronics. Here are the models built to handle gunite pools best — with the filtration, brushes, and navigation that matter most for Gunite Pools.
Dolphin builds one of the widest robotic pool cleaner lineups on the market, so choosing the right one for Gunite Pools comes down to matching the robot's filter, brushes, and navigation to the job.
Gunite pools have a hard, textured finish that grabs and holds algae and grime in its pores. Cleaning them well takes real mechanical scrubbing, not just vacuuming.
What to look for in a robotic pool cleaner for Gunite Pools
Gunite's rough surface calls for aggressive active brushing to work grime out of the texture, plus strong wall climbing since gunite pools are often large with deep ends. Fine filtration captures the fine particles that scrubbing frees, and durable build quality stands up to the abrasive surface.
- Aggressive active scrubbing brushes
- Strong wall & deep-end climbing
- Fine filtration for freed grime
- Durable build for abrasive surfaces

Frequently asked questions
What's the best robotic cleaner for a gunite pool?
One with aggressive active brushes and strong climbing, like the Sigma or Quantum. Gunite's rough texture needs real scrubbing to stay clean.
Does gunite wear out pool robot brushes faster?
The abrasive surface adds wear over time, but Dolphin brushes are durable and replaceable. A well-built robot handles gunite for years.
Do I need wall climbing for a gunite pool?
Yes. Gunite pools are often large and deep, so a robot that climbs and scrubs walls and the waterline keeps the whole surface clean.
