How to choose a Dolphin pool robot
Start with the pool length (33 ft or 50 ft), then the coverage you need (floor only, walls, or walls and waterline), then the filtration your debris calls for (MaxBin™ for leaves, NanoFilters™ for fine dirt). The warranty tells you where a model sits in the range: 1 year on the Amazon Nautilus editions, 2 years on the Max-Series™, Explorer™ and Liberty, 3 years on the Premier and Sigma.

Corded or cordless Dolphin?
Most Dolphins are corded: a low-voltage power supply on the deck, a 40 to 60 ft cable with an anti-tangle swivel, and the unlimited runtime that lets a weekly timer clean the pool all season. The corded Dolphins carry the strongest motors, the finest filters and the longest warranties. The cordless Dolphins, the Liberty and the EON, remove the cable in exchange for a charge between cycles and, on the Liberty, floor-and-wall coverage without the waterline.
Dolphin lineups sold elsewhere
Maytronics also sells Dolphins through pool stores and specialty retailers under other names: the Active, Premium, T-Series, S-Series, M-Series, Proteus and Advantage lines, and the commercial Wave. Which Dolphin should I buy for an above-ground pool?
The Dolphin Escape (floor cleaning, pools up to 33 ft) or the Cayman (floor and walls, with a weekly timer). The cordless Liberty 200 also cleans above-ground pools up to 50 ft.
Does Dolphin make a cordless pool robot?
Yes. The Dolphin Liberty 200 and 300 and the Dolphin EON 100 and 120D are cordless. The Liberty 200 ships free from our warehouse; the others are sold through Amazon and Dolphin dealers.
Can I leave my Dolphin in the pool?
You can between cycles, but Maytronics recommends removing it when it is not cleaning to extend the life of the cable, brushes and seals and to keep it out of chemical treatments. Lift it out by the handle, rinse the filter and store it in the shade.
Where is the reset button on a Dolphin pool cleaner?
Most Dolphins have no reset button: unplug the power supply, wait 30 seconds and plug it back in to reset the robot. Our troubleshooting pages walk through the fix for every model and error light.

How often should a pool robot run?
Two or three cycles a week keeps most residential pools clean; pools under trees or in dusty areas may want a daily cycle in season. A weekly timer (Quantum, Premier, Cayman) or the app (Sigma, EON) handles this for you.
