Every Dolphin Liberty runs on a built-in lithium-ion battery. There is no floating cable to route and no power supply by the pool: charge it, drop it in, press start and lift it out by its handle when the cycle ends. At 17.86 lb, the Liberty is Dolphin's first cordless robot and one of its lightest.
Two motors, an active brush and CleverClean™ navigation scrub the floor and climb the walls of in-ground and above-ground pools up to 50 ft on a 1.5-hour cycle, across concrete, plaster, pebble, tile, vinyl and fiberglass.
Snap On, Charge, Swim
The inductive charger snaps onto the back of the robot magnetically. There are no exposed pins to corrode and no need to towel the robot dry first. A full charge takes up to about 6 hours, so most owners charge overnight in a shaded spot and run the next day; three LED lights show the battery status at a glance. When the cycle ends, or the battery runs low, the Liberty parks itself at the nearest wall, so you never fish it out of the deep end.

Lift, Rinse, Replace
Both Libertys use a large top-loading basket with a clear lid that shows when it is full. Lift it out, rinse it with a hose and drop it back in: no bag to turn inside out and no reaching under a dripping robot.
