The M-Series is the top of the specialty-retailer range: three 50-ft robots with the myDolphin™ Plus app, a weekly timer and a 3-year warranty. Compare the M400, M550 and M600, then see the ProLine™ robots we ship free with the same commercial-grade pedigree.
All three M-Series robots clean the floor, walls and waterline of pools up to 50 ft and connect to the app. The M400 runs three brushes on a 2.5-hour cycle, the M550 adds a caddy and 5,000 GPH suction, and the M600 tops the line with a multi-layer basket, full-filter indicator and selectable cycles. Prices are Maytronics list prices.

Three brushes, 2.5-hr cycle. Cleans the floor, walls and waterline on a 2.5 hr cycle.
5,000 GPH, caddy, Pick-Up mode. Cleans the floor, walls and waterline on a 2 hr cycle.
Multi-layer filter, selectable cycles. Cleans the floor, walls and waterline on a 2 hr cycle.
Pool retailers that carry the S-Series sell the M-Series above it. All three are heavier, in-ground robots with a 3-year warranty, an anti-tangle swivel cable, a weekly timer and app control. The M400 is the brush specialist: three brushes including a combine brush, on a longer 2.5-hour cycle. The M550 and M600 run two brushes, add a caddy and Pick-Up mode, and every model ships with an ultra-fine kit.
The M550 pulls 5,000 GPH through a combine filter kit and adds Pick-Up mode for easy retrieval. The M600 trades a little suction for a multi-layer basket with a full-filter indicator, a delayed start and a choice of 1.5, 2 or 2.5-hour cycles. If fine dust and pollen are the problem, the M600's filter wins; for leaves, the M550's suction does.
Start with your pool length and the coverage you need, then choose the filtration and controls that fit your routine. For recommendations across every Dolphin family, read our guide to the best robotic pool cleaners →
Every M-Series robot climbs walls and scrubs the waterline, with active brushes that spin to lift algae film. Rated for in-ground pools, they weigh 22 to 27 lb, so the caddy on the M550 and M600 earns its keep.
Compare M-Series Coverage
All three connect to the myDolphin™ Plus app over Wi-Fi: start a cycle, set the weekly schedule, choose a cleaning mode and, on the M600, delay the start. Pick-Up mode on the M550 and M600 drives the robot to the wall nearest you when the cycle ends.

The M-Series sits where our Dolphin ProLine™ does online. The Quantum, Premier and Sigma bring commercial-grade motors, NanoFilters™ in the box, a weekly timer and a 2 to 3-year warranty, with free shipping and a 30-day trial. The Dolphin Max-Series™ is the value route to the same MaxBin™ filter. Talk to a Dolphin specialist about how an M600 compares with the Sigma.
