Maytronics builds the Active series for pool stores and service companies, so you will not find it in big-box stores or on Amazon. Every Active is a corded, plug-and-play Dolphin: lower it in by the handle, press the button on the power supply, and it scrubs and vacuums on its own with a top-loading filter basket that rinses in seconds.
Compare pool size first, then coverage. The Active 10 cleans floors only; the Active 15 and Solo climb walls; everything from the Active 20 up scrubs the waterline too. The 2000 and 3000 are the newest designs and add steps and sun ledges.
The Active 10, 15, Solo and 20 are the simple tier: no app, and a weekly timer on the 15 and 20. The Active 30 adds the myDolphin™ Plus app and a caddy. The Active 40 moves to a multi-layer basket with a full-filter indicator and selectable cycles, and the Active 60 tops the line with a combine brush, 4,500 GPH suction and a 3-year warranty.
The Active 2000 and 3000 sit in their own lane: 2.5-hour cycles, app control, a tangle-free swivel cable and coverage of steps and sun ledges, with the 3000 adding a multi-layer filter, a caddy and 3 years of coverage.
Start with your pool length and the coverage you need, then choose the filtration and controls that fit your routine. For recommendations across every Dolphin family, read our guide to the best robotic pool cleaners →
Every Active uses a top-loading basket. The 10, 20, 30 and Solo ship with a fine filter; the 15 and 2000 use a combine kit that captures leaves and fine dirt together; the 40, 60 and 3000 step up to a multi-layer basket. Most models from the 15 up include an ultra-fine kit in the box for pollen and silt.
Compare Active Filtration
The Active 10 and Solo are plug and play: press the button and go. The Active 15 and 20 add a weekly timer on the power supply. From the Active 30 up, every model connects to the myDolphin™ Plus app for scheduling, and the 40, 60, 2000 and 3000 add a delayed start and a choice of cycle lengths from your phone.
Compare Active Controls
The newest Actives are built for free-form pools. Beyond the floor, walls and waterline, they climb onto steps and sun ledges, run 2.5-hour cycles and route a tangle-free swivel cable. Both pair with the app; the 3000 adds a multi-layer filter, a caddy and a 3-year warranty for pools up to 50 ft, while the 2000 covers pools up to 40 ft.
