Cordless Dolphins come in two families. The Liberty is Dolphin’s first cordless robot and its lightest: two motors, an active brush, CleverClean™ navigation and Magnetic-Connect inductive charging, cleaning the floor and walls of in-ground and above-ground pools up to 50 ft. The EON is the newer, smarter family: SmartMap™ navigation, the Maytronics One app, and coverage that includes the waterline, steps, corners and sun ledges.
Choose the Liberty if you want the simplest cordless robot with a 2-year warranty, shipped free from an authorized dealer: the Liberty 200 for one cycle per charge, the Liberty 300 for a week of cycles and Click-Up™ pickup. Choose the EON if your pool has steps, a tanning ledge or a tile line you want scrubbed, and you want to schedule from your phone. At 17.86 lb the Liberty is one of the lightest Dolphins. Carry it to the pool by the handle, drop it in and two motors, an active brush and CleverClean™ navigation scrub the floor and climb the walls across concrete, plaster, pebble, tile, vinyl and fiberglass. When the cycle ends or the battery runs low, it parks itself at the wall.

Charge in a shaded spot, not in direct sun on a hot deck. Run full cycles rather than many short ones. Over winter, store the robot indoors around half charge and top it up every couple of months. Treated this way a lithium-ion battery stays healthy for seasons, and the Liberty’s battery is replaceable if it ever needs it. You can leave a corded Dolphin in the water between cycles, but Maytronics recommends removing it when it is not cleaning to extend the life of the cable, brushes and seals and to keep it out of chemical shock treatments. Cordless robots come out to charge anyway; most owners lift them by the handle after each cycle.
