The Best Dolphin Robotic Pool Cleaners for Sand

Dolphin builds one of the widest robotic pool cleaner lineups on the market, so choosing the right one for Sand comes down to matching the robot's filter, brushes, and navigation to the job.

Sand is heavy and settles fast into the deep end and floor seams, and fine grains slip right through a coarse filter. You need a robot that can both lift dense grit and hold it without leaking it back out.

What to look for in a robotic pool cleaner for Sand

Sand demands strong suction to pull dense grains off the floor and a fine filter to keep them contained. Bottom-load bins are ideal because heavy sand drops straight into the canister. NanoFilters or ultra-fine cartridges keep the smallest grains from washing back through the media.

• Strong suction for heavy grit
• Fine or Nano filtration to trap grains
• Bottom-load debris canister
• Thorough deep-end floor coverage
