The Best Dolphin Robotic Pool Cleaners with Nano Filters
We carry every Dolphin robot by Maytronics. Here are the models built to handle nano filters best — with the filtration, brushes, and navigation that matter most with Nano Filters.
Dolphin builds one of the widest robotic pool cleaner lineups on the market, so choosing the right one with Nano Filters comes down to matching the robot's filter, brushes, and navigation to the job.
NanoFilters are Dolphin's Gen-2 ultra-fine filtration, capturing particles down to just a few microns — the fine dirt, pollen, silt, and dead algae that standard filters recirculate. If you want truly clear water, this is the feature to prioritize.
What to look for in a robotic pool cleaner with Nano Filters
Look for robots that include NanoFilters in the box rather than as a costly add-on. NanoFilters trap microscopic debris that standard cartridges miss, which is the difference between hazy and glass-clear water. They're especially valuable if you battle fine dirt, pollen, or post-shock dead algae.
- NanoFilters included in the box
- Fine ~2-micron particle capture
- Easy-rinse filter design
- Pairs with strong, thorough coverage

Frequently asked questions
What are NanoFilters on a Dolphin robot?
NanoFilters are Dolphin's Gen-2 ultra-fine filters that capture debris down to a few microns — far finer than standard cartridges — for crystal-clear water. The Quantum includes them in the box.
Do I need NanoFilters?
If you deal with fine dirt, pollen, silt, or dead algae, yes. NanoFilters capture those fine particles that standard filters let pass back into the pool.
Can I add NanoFilters to my Dolphin?
Many models are NanoFilter-compatible, so you can upgrade. Choosing a robot that includes them — the Quantum, Sigma, or Premier — saves the extra purchase.
