With direct sunlight, it takes 2.5 hours for the Skimmi to be fully charged. A full charge lasts for 8 hours of work. It uses direct sunlight to operate itself without depleting the battery.
Note that any net above the pool or covers may potentially reduce the efficiency of charging.
