What to know.
We implemented an OTP (One-Time Password) login system to enhance security and providea seamless login experience. This will simplify your login process, add increased protection to your account, and make it easier to access your account securely.
If you can access the email address connected to your Facebook User or Google Play, you can use that same email for the OTP login.
Follow these steps to set up the OTP:
- Open the MyDolphinPlus (corded robots) or Maytronics One (cordless robots) on your smart device.
- On the login screen, enter your registered email address. The code will be sent in up to 3 minutes.
- Check your email inbox for the OTP sent from Maytronics. The code is valid for 5 minutes (MyDolphin Plus) and 3 minutes (MaytronicsOne).
- Enter the OTP in the designated field within the app.
Ensure the latest app version is downloaded for the OTP to work.
If you are being asked to log in with the OTP every time you open the app, please delete and reinstall the app, then log in an additional two times to mitigate this issue.
If an Apple ID, Facebook, or Google Play login was used to create an account, choose between two options:
- Login with the previously used email account.
OR
- Sign up with a new email account. Note that this will require completing the robot-app pairing process again.
If the app was only paired with the robot via Bluetooth, completing the robot-app pairing process is still necessary after going through the OTP.
