From Maytronics support, updated 2024-02-11, rewritten for clarity. Applies to 1 model. Parts that fix it are below.

The fix

Step by step.

Follow these steps to clean the impeller:

  1. Unplug the power supply.

  2. Open the top lid and remove the filter.

  3. Release and remove the two screws holding the motor unit cover.

  4. Gently pull the motor unit cover and slide it along the blue cable.

  5. Remove the manifold and then the water adjuster tube.

  6. Clean the debris trapped in the impeller. Exercise caution with the impeller blades - they are sharp.

  7. Reinstall the water adjuster tube and manifold back into place.

  8. Slide the motor unit cover along the blue cable back into position. Fasten the cover with the screws.

  9. Return the filter and close the top lid.
