My Dolphin floats and does not sink to the bottom of the pool

From Maytronics support, updated 2026-04-26, rewritten for clarity. Parts that fix it are below.

The fix

Step by step.

If your Dolphin has brushes with foam rings, we recommend placing them in the water and allowing them to soak and absorb the water.

Also, there may be excess air inside your robot. When you place the robot into the water, gently tilt it from left to right or turn it upside down to release any excess air.

If you have a pool treated with salt, make sure that the salt content conditions are at the required level (NaCl Maximum = 5000 ppm). A high salt level can increase the robot's buoyancy.
